We met in January and established the our tentative event schedule for 2018. These are listed below. All events start on Saturday at 9 a.m. unless otherwise noted. We welcome new members and look forward to meeting you at these events. You can also find us on Meetup this year.

• February 17th (meet at Frank’s house) – Mark DuBois will speak on his 2017 visits to the British Museums.
• March 17th (meet at old Lakeview parking lot) (starts at 8 a.m.) – trip to St. Louis Botanical Garden and Butterfly House. Meeting has been cancelled.
• April 28th (meet at old Lakeview parking lot) – trip to Merwin Nature Preserve.
• May 19th (meet at old Lakeview parking lot) – trip to Black Partridge Park (Metamora).
• June 16th (meet at old Lakeview parking lot) – trip to Sand Ridge State Forest.
• July 21st (meet at old Lakeview parking lot) – trip to Rock Island Trail.
• August 18th (meet at old Lakeview parking lot) (starts at 8 a.m.) – trip to Rock Cut State Park. Note – this trip has been cancelled.
• September 22nd – potluck picnic at Jubilee College State Park (starts at 5 p.m.). We originally scheduled this for Sept. 15 but had to change the date to the 22nd. Hope to see you there.
• October 20th (meet at Frank’s house) – trip to Singing Woods.
• November 17th (meet at Frank’s house) – show and tell
• December – no meeting – Happy Holidays.
