For our May, 2019 field trip, we visited the Merwin Nature Preserve (near Lexington, Illinois) on May 18. Here is a video recap of our hike along the main trails.

As we hiked through the preserve, I captures a few 360 degree images with my Theta camera. These are shown below. The first photo was taken near the hill prairie overlooking the Mackinaw iver.

The photo below was taken near the Mackinaw River. Note the large Chicken of the Woods fungus growing on one of the rotting logs.
